Tedson 2-metre Heat Exchanger

Solazone provides a 2-metre long Tedson Heat Exchanger to suit most mains pressure and glycol-based solar hot water service tanks.

These heat exchangers are designed to operate at low pressure on the stove side so that if the circulation stops for any reason, and the stove is still working, the steam will vent out and will not cause an explosion and rupture of the heat exchanger or pipework.

This design incorporates a copper tube inside a larger diameter copper sleeve.  It has connections for hot and cold in and out, and a connection for steam and topping up.
